If your sender’s bank is requesting correspondent or intermediary SWIFT details to send money to your Payset ClearBank account, here's what to do based on the currency.
What SWIFT BIC Should Be Used?
Currency | What to Do |
EUR or USD | Use the Payset SWIFT BIC: PYSEGB22 |
If the sending platform requires an intermediary, use: CLRBGB22XXX.
All other supported currencies | What to Do |
(CAD, CHF, CZK, DKK, HUF, NOK, PLN, RON, SEK) | Use: CHASGB2LXXX (1st intermediary) or CLRBGB22XXX (2nd intermediary) |
Additional Notes
If the sender’s bank allows entering an intermediary SWIFT BIC, use the appropriate code from the table above.
If not, proceed with the default PYSEGB22, and include the preferred intermediary SWIFT BIC (e.g., CHASGB2LXXX or CLRBGB22XXX) in the payment description.
Adding the correct intermediary helps route the payment efficiently and reduces processing delays.
Example
If you’re receiving a DKK (Danish Krone) payment, use these details:
- IBAN: Your Payset ClearBank IBAN
- SWIFT BIC: CHASGB2LXXX or CLRBGB22XXX (intermediary)
If the intermediary field is not editable, add this in the payment description:
“Intermediary BIC: CHASGB2LXXX”
