Can I transfer funds from my Payset account to a cryptocurrency exchange?

Yes — Payset clients can transfer funds to crypto exchanges, subject to our standard compliance checks.

Who can I send funds to?

UK-based clients

You may send funds only to crypto exchanges that are registered with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

All other clients

You can send funds to any exchange that meets Payset’s compliance and approval requirements, whether in the UK or abroad.

How do I check if an exchange is allowed?

UK clients can verify exchanges on the FCA Cryptoasset Register. 

• Note that some firms on the register may only offer custody services, not exchange services.
• Also, note that "formerly registered" firms should be ignored.

If you are unsure, contact Payset support, and we will confirm for you.

Important notes

• All transfers must pass Payset compliance/AML checks.
• Cryptoassets involve market and regulatory risks and are not protected by compensation schemes.
• There is no need to notify us in advance, but for large or first-time transfers, informing us can help avoid delays.
