We're here to assist you with closing your Payset account should you no longer need it. To begin the process, you must submit your closure request here or by emailing operations@payset.io.
*Please note that you cannot close your Payset account via our live chat feature.
Important information before closing your account
Outstanding fees
If there are any unpaid fees on your account, such as monthly charges or dormant account fees, these must be settled before we can proceed with closing the account.
Remaining balance
If you have remaining funds in your account, we will give you 14 days’ notice to withdraw the balance, unless legal restrictions prevent the transfer.
The funds must be transferred to a bank account in the name of your company (or the account holder, for individual accounts).
If your company doesn’t have another bank account, the funds may be sent to the UBO’s personal account.
Please ensure the withdrawal is completed within the 14-day window.
After the closure request is submitted and all conditions are met, you will retain access to your account to view or download your full payment history until you receive the formal Account Termination Letter.
