If you wish to link your Payset account to your NemKonto, you can do so either online using MitID or manually by submitting a form to the Agency for Digital Government.
Option 1: Linking with MitID (Recommended)
- Log in to NemKonto using MitID.
- Go to the tab titled "Foreign NemKonto".
- Add your Payset Estonian EUR account details.
- You can find these details by logging in to your Payset account and clicking on your EE - Estonian EUR wallet.
Once added, NemKonto will process the request and link your Payset account.
Option 2: Linking Without MitID
If you don’t have MitID, you can register your Payset account as your NemKonto manually:
- Download and complete the NemKonto form for citizens (You will have to have your signature certified by a notary public, lawyer, or two witnesses): Download Form (PDF)
- Submit the following documents to the Agency for Digital Government:
- The completed and certified form
- A copy of a valid ID for the person signing the form
After submission, an activation letter will be sent to you by regular post within 10–14 business days. Your NemKonto will only become valid once you have activated it using the code from this letter.
Troubleshooting & Tips
- If your NemKonto registration is rejected: Double-check that the account details match exactly as shown in your Payset account (including IBAN and BIC).
- If you can't find your EUR EE - Estonian wallet details: Log in to Payset, go to Wallets, and click on EUR Wallet to reveal your account details.
- If you don’t receive the activation letter, contact NemKonto Support and provide them with your case details.
